Malaysia is in bad shape

Malaysia is in bad shape and it is worse than most people would like to admit it.

The first problem is lack of leadership, this in turn robbing us of any vision and the end result is a total loss of direction.

Najib has spent literally billions on his One-Malaysia campaign. One must wonder is that at any time in our history, we ever have Two Malaysia. The only argument is that we have East and West Malaysia, which Tun Mahathir has done his part by synchronizing the time zone. What Najib should focus on is to level the playing field between East and West Malaysia, then, we will achieve One Malaysia minus all those expensive hypes.

The second problem is there is no more Prime Minister Material if we look beyond Najib. This is the sole reason Najib can hold on to his No. 1 position, otherwise, he and his wife can play golf and shop day and night as they wish.

The third problem is we have all bunch of leaders who all want to do big deals and carry out big projects. But, when they are entrusted with little task, they all find ways to mess it up badly.

The fourth problem is that it is no longer power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Today, it is money corrupts, a blank cheque corrupts absolutely.
