The real problem of Iskandar Malaysia

The real problem of Iskandar Malaysia is incorrect positioning.

Let's face it, Southern Johor is no Shenzhen and Singapore is no Hong Kong. Shenzhen has a huge supply of hard working and talented workers from the whole of China, and, the best Malaysia can do is to import Foreign Workers from the region. Hong Kong citizens excel in taking risk, Singaporeans, on the other hand, do their best to avoid risk.

The fact that Iskandar Malaysia is three times the size of Singapore makes it a certain failure. Malaysia leaders all preoccupied with the notion that the bigger the better, so, they create one White Elephant Project after another. Let's put it straight, if Iskandar Malaysia is one-third the size of Singapore, then, its chance of success increases by ten folds.

Singapore is not at the driver seat of Iskandar Malaysia. The Middle East Oil Money is the first life blood supply to starts it to begin with, then the local developers somehow make their way down south and all of a sudden The China Gangs come and create a storm.

What will happen if the China money dries out ?
